Adam Moezinia | Celebration | Single
This opening track is part of an original suite by Adam called the “Ivory Suite”, influenced by the folk music of West Africa. Adam was drawn to the style after hearing Beninese jazz guitarist Lionel Loueke and experimented with these sounds in his trio. The simple pentatonic melodies, modulating guitar effect and danceable drum/bass groove are all inherent attributes of this music and part of what gives it an uplifting, “celebratory” feeling.
