“Unsaid”, the title track of the album, is an original composition, influenced by “zamba”, a traditional folkloric style from Argentina. It is a way for me to express an emotion that cannot be communicated through spoken words, so it is instead transmitted through a different medium – musical sound, something fleeting and in the moment, understood or implied, thought it remains unsaid. Alternatively, it can mean something that, once articulated, cannot be unsaid. The sound of it remains and bears the weight of that which has already been expressed.
