Dave Tedeschi | Drums

At the age of nine, after not being able to sit still during his piano lessons, Dave Tedeschi convinced his parents to buy him a snare drum. From that point forward, Dave knew that he wanted to be a musician. Through the encouragement of his family - including grandmother Audrey Olsen, a legendary choral director and piano teacher - he graduated from the Eastman School of Music and then landed in New York City in 2009. From that point forward, Dave became known for his musicality, versatility and improvisational prowess.

In his short time in New York City, Dave has performed and recorded with some of the most exciting bands, musicians and producers including People Vs. Larsen, Little Racer, Stone Cold Fox, the Jeremy Siskind Trio and the Alex Graham Quartet. In 2014, Dave was featured on an arrangement of Megan Trainor's "All About that Bass" with Scott Bradlee's Postmodern Jukebox.  The video has now been viewed over 15 million times and was featured on both the Huffington Post and Billboard Magazine. He joined Postmodern Jukebox for their 2016 world tour, which included performances at the Dubai Jazz Festival, Athens Release Music Festival and shows at the Roundhouse in London, Le Trianon in Paris, Radio City Music Hall in New York City and Microsoft Theatre in Los Angeles, among many others.

Dave Tedeschi is proud to endorse Vater Drumsticks, C&C Drum Company and Zildjian Cymbals.
